Can you repair the backlight on a PanelView Plus 6?
Yes. The PanelView Plus 6 has a modular design with a separate display module, making backlight replacement straightforward. We carry out LED upgrade conversions that eliminate the original CCFL failure mode.
Is it worth repairing a PanelView Plus 7?
The PanelView Plus 7 has an integrated, sealed design with a non-replaceable LED backlight. Touchscreen and firmware repairs are viable, but backlight failure requires full unit replacement. We will assess your unit and advise honestly on whether repair is the right option.
