The Pro-face GP3000 series is fully discontinued with CCFL backlights — every surviving unit is well past its rated CCFL life. Can you repair the backlight on a Pro-face GP3000?
Yes. CCFL backlight replacement on the GP3000 is a routine repair. We carry out both direct lamp replacement and LED conversion upgrades to eliminate the CCFL failure mode.
Do you have parts for the GP3500 and GP3300?
Yes. Aftermarket touchscreen digitizers, CCFL backlight assemblies, and LCD panels are available for the GP3500, GP3300, and other GP3000 variants from specialist suppliers.
My GP3000 is installed in an OEM machine — does that affect the repair?
No. We repair the panel hardware regardless of the machine it is installed in. Pro-face panels are brand-agnostic, so the PLC and machine application do not affect our ability to service the panel.
